WHO'S DRIVING TONIGHT?

It's illegal for anyone under 21 to buy, have or drink alcohol in any way, shape or form. That means it's illegal for you to drive with any alcohol in your system, too. Here’s what happens the first time you're snagged for driving under the influence (that's called DUI):

If You're Busted For DUI

• $500 fine
• Driver's license suspended for 60 days
• 20 to 40 hours of community service
• Mandatory alcohol awareness class

If you're caught drunk in the driver's seat, you can also face DWI criminal penalties. Oh snap.

If You're Busted For DWI

Strike One
• $2000 fine
• Six months behind bars
• Loss of driver's license for up to a year
• $1000 every year for three years to keep your driver's license

Strike Two
• $4000 fine
• One year in jail
• Loss of driver's license for up to two years
• $1500 every year for three years to keep your driver's license

Strike Three
• $10,000 fine
• Two to ten years in prison
• Loss of driver's license for up to two years
• $2000 every year for three years to keep your driver's license

If you’re popped for DWI twice in five years, somebody really will get up in yo grill and slap in an ignition interlock that prevents your ride from starting if you’ve been drinking. Yeah, that really blows.

So the question is, Who's Driving Tonight?
